Last day of 2021

Goodbye 2021 and welcome 2022. We are ending this year sick, possibly COVID sick. We had family over for Christmas and somehow most of us ended up sick. Ricky and  I took the kids to get tested early this morning in Fontana. How early? we woke up at 5 and were out of the house by 5:30, we got to Kaiser by 6:30 and the line was already insane. After two hours we finally tested and left. Now to wait, since we are in quarantine I am cooking New Years Eve dinner. I've tried looking everywhere for new years decorations but everything's sold out. Trying to make this day memorable for the boys last minute is not easy. Ok so update time....

Damian, he turned 14 this year. His voice has deepened and he is so much taller now. He is in the 8th grade, his last year at Vanguard. We are so excited to watch him grow and mature. He's so handsome and smart. He played soccer this year and of course football. Grades are really good and he's still being an awesome big brother. He loves playing xbox and friends. H walks around the house with an airpod in his ear and a smile on his face. His favorite food is pizza or teriyaki bowls and has a new love of spicy food.

Julian is now 12, he's still super silly and always bugging his brothers. He is in the 6th grade and loves hanging out with his friends. He is so handsome and he knows it, as do all the girls that come across him. He also played soccer this year as well as his favorite football. His favorite food is seafood and wings. He is doing really well in school his grades are up and we are so proud of him.

Jacob is 11 and growing. He is super smart and so sweet. He loves reading and spending family time. He is in the 5th grade and his teacher referred to him as her "class ambassador" I can totally see that he is a leader for sure. Jacob played soccer and football and also enjoys xbox time. He got a hoverboard and no longer walks anywhere lol. Even to take the trash out he's on that thing. His favorite food is enchiladas.

Mason is 6, he is so smart and big. He loves making friends and running around. This year he is in 1st grade and played soccer and did his first year of football and loved it. Mason is always smiling he's the first one to laugh at anything silly. He's got these big chunky cheeks that are adorable. His favorite food is pizza, rice and mac and cheese. His favorite color is red and he is learning how to read. He excels at math.

Lincoln, Lincoln our little baby. He turned 5 this year and gained his voice for sure. We absolutely love hearing how well he can express himself. He is in kindergarten and his teacher said he should be reading in no time. I am not surprised. He is so outspoken. This year he asked for a bottle, yes a baby bottle and while at first we were against it after a month of him asking for it I gave in. did he look ridiculous? probably. Would I do it again? yes! in a heartbeat. He literally only used it for like 2 days and it was only filled with water. Lincoln's favorite color is blue and his favorite food is cake pops (starbucks) and "real seafood" basically a shrimp Cajun boil.

As for Ricky, he is still working his butt off. He loves off-roading and hanging out at home. I start work in two weeks and I'm bummed, I usually only work 4 months out of the year so it's not hard, but I miss being home. We moved into his parents house on Tonawanda Rd in Apple Valley. This house was a huge fixer upper. We spent so much time remodeling what was originally seen as a quick project. It turned into a complete gut out in the kitchen and bathrooms, I mean countertops and closets baseboards. Flooring throughout the house knocking out a bookcase in Damián's room. Let's just say I would never want to do that again. We spent our summer having so much fun with friends then got back to real life, school and sports. Our days were long our nights sometimes longer. We loved being busy and then we were tired. With sports finally over and holidays coming we were so ready for a break, a slow down of time that winter time usually brings. We took family pics, and omg I love them, I'll post more at the bottom. Thanksgiving was held at our house and all of my side of the family came except for my Dad he hurt his back. We had so much fun playing games and hanging out, making food. Until Ricky felt sick, dang it. Long story short we are waiting for results counting down the time to midnight to ring in the new year. See ya next year friends.

Happy Blogging

Today was super fun it was Damian's first school trip and it was so much fun, and best part was being able to go on the trip with him.We went to Boulder Creek Ranch (pumpkin patch)  I have to confess I'm such a big baby as we boarded the bus and were driving off I had to hold tears back, it just made me realize how fast my boys are growing. I can't believe he is going to be five next month. To see him being able to do stuff on his own and watch him have conversations with his friends is amazing. He is not a little baby anymore. (tear) Anyways, back to the trip he got to pick a very cute pumpkin and he tasted roasted pumpkin seeds, he also got to go on a hay ride and check out all the cool (smelly) horses, donkeys, chickens, goats and cats (weird huh). We ended the trip with lunch on the grass then back on the bus and off to school. Julian and Jacob stayed with "Tia Monica", a true godsend that cousin of mine! They had tons of fun playing with their new cat "He

Boys bday party

Sorry for the back to back posts but I have so much to catch up with that I don't want to miss a single thing. We decided to have a joint party for the boys because it just made sense, the weather would be great and it would be one big party instead of three smaller ones, and it worked out perfectly. We had the party on 9/8/12 Jacob's actual 2nd bday (worked out nicely). We put lots of work into making this party a hit for the boys. I painted some of the stuff and even Jackie (Ricky's sister) helped out! She was the one to give me the idea on the centerpieces and they turned out adorable. There was even a car painting station that the kids enjoyed. So here are some of the pictures.

COVID19?

So today is April 8, 2020. We still do not have flying cars or anything of the sort, you would think we would be more advanced but the only cool thing about this year is Apple fixed their bug and we can now face time with multiple people at the same time. It feels like instead of moving forward to bigger and better things we have reverted to the stone ages, what am I talking about? let me share with you what this new year has brought us. COVID19, which basically stands for Corona Virus 2019. Apparently brought to us by the nice people of Wuhan, China. There are so many jokes but I will spare you those. So we are literally quarantined. Schools shut down somewhere around the second week of March, and we began online distance learning, a makeshift home school of all things. Can I just say there is a reason I did not go into that field, this has been a mission and we are only on day 3 of it. So let me go back to a month ago when things were scary but we were still out and about enjoying ou
