Congrats to Damian

I almost forgot Damian came home on Friday showing off his certificate as well as his medal for learning how to count to 100 on his own. This made me one proud Mommy, we have been working so hard on teaching him his numbers and just two weeks ago I got a letter from his teacher saying he only knew how to count to 20. He got Ice cream too, all for knowing how to count! The next milestone we are working on is learning how to tie his shoes... My baby is awesome!

I seriously suck!

It's been two years since I have updated this blog, busy is now my middle name and a lot has happened. This will be one of those super long posts but I am okay with it. I remind myself that I am doing this so that one day my kids can read this when they are older. So as is life we have good times and we have bad times, the last two months have been rough. Alex was diagnosed with colon cancer two years ago and unfortunately he passed away Aug 14, 2019 a day before my Links 4th birthday. Life has been so different with him being gone, we had his services last weekend and it was so hard to hear what people shared about him. We all love Alex and miss him so much but I know that he is in a better place with no pain. Monica has been as you can imagine in so much agony over losing her son. I try to be there for her as much as I can but she usually tries to just hold it all in, she gets that from her Mama, I wish I could just hug her and take all her pain away. wow, its been way too long

I was suppose to be updating this during the kids Thanksgiving break and I forgot to do it, ok fine I was too lazy. We had such a great break we took out all mattresses and set them up in the living room and we it was a camp out that was so relaxing and fun. Thanksgiving was spent at my cousins house first and then off to my Mother in law's house we went. In all we had a great time, too bad I forgot to take pictures I only have one of the kids which I will post later. I made two awesome ham's, or so I think. Then it seemed like a minute later the boys were back in school and I missed them tons. Oh yeah I also forgot Halloween now that was something else, there were 6 cars (if I remember correctly) in total that made up our party and the kids had a blast yes I have pics and yes I will post them too but later. Then it was my big 30 bday, lol..jeez so weird to be turning 30. I cant believe how time flys, but it was nice Ricky took the day off and we just hung out all day it was gr...

Update ha two years later, clearly I'm horrible at this. Anywho here we go.                                         Damian He is now 16 and growing he just passed his written test at the DMV so he will be driving soon, Jesus help me. Im only worried because of those around him. He's very responsible and has a good head on his shoulders so Im sure he will be fine. He is finishing up his 10th grade year in H.S. He had his first girlfriend/heartbreak and it was a tough one, now that part kind of worries me because I know that first experience has made him not wanting to be in another relationship, obviously he is too young right now but I hope one day he will take it serious. Jayden was a sweet girl but apparently not the one for him. So for now he's on his own and we are all ok with that.
